Many visitors always ask us when is the right and perfect time to go on safari in Uganda, the best time to go is between two dry seasons; December to February & between June to August. These times are best to go safari, gorilla and ChimpanzeeTracking. Game viewing in uganda's savannah Parks is best at the end of the dry seasons ; February and March & September to early October when wildlife is concentrated around water sources.

The trekking permits costs differ depending on seasons. To go on a gorilla and Chimps trek safari, you need to book permits early in advance for easy planning of an amazing experience. The gorilla trek permit is currently at $800 in Uganda, $1500 in Rwanda; Chimpanzee trek permit at $ 250 in Uganda. We always recommend you to pay and book the permits in advance. You can decide to book them on your own through Uganda wildlife authority or pay directly to us depending on which one suits you better. We know how stressful it can be to tend transferring lots of dollars to someone you haven't met before.

If you planning a tourist or business visit to Uganda, you will need a valid visa..At the time of applying for this mandatory application, be sure to exactly specify the correct date of your arrival based on your flight and length of time you intend to stay in the country, it's recommended you apply for your visa well in advance of your intended visit.

Consider this when packing for Uganda safari, pack long sleeved shirts and trousers, gloves, cap and sunglasses to protect you from strong sunlight, hiking shoes, bag, insect repellents, bag, a plastic bottled water. Ask us for more about this when planning to decide on what to bring
